SUNDAY MORNING FEEL AT SARU HEIGHTS

Well, it’s another Sunday morning. Here I am on the second level walkway, overlooking the main church bus bay with the Yasawa and the Mamanuca (Mamanutha) group of Islands clearly visible on this fine day. I can clearly feel the South Westerly breeze blowing across my face and this eerie Sunday feeling bubbling inside me. The feeling you only experience when out in the islands.

It’s the second Sunday since we said goodbye to our former deputy senior pastor, Rev Jerry Radrodro. We, who know him well, really miss him. Especially with him being a member of our pastoral team for more than eighteen years. But, when GOD says it’s time to move on, my friends, it’s time to move. He is now settled in Labasa and I believe that God will use him mightily there (as HE did here in Lautoka).

Back here in Lautoka, we are in our second week of 'BACK TO PANTECOST'. Yes, that’s our theme for the next few weeks and its back to the 'HOLY SPIRIT' fire time. Today, Rev Saimoni Waqa (snr pst) will speak to us during the am service and Rev Eremasi Tulevu on the evening service. I am looking forward to another hefty spiritual meal today.

It’s 9.20am and the first of the 33 special busses have just pulled into the main entrance with a few private cars following. We in the media department and the worship team have been here since 8am and are all ready to worship GOD by ensuring that our job is carried out well.

I will have to pen off now because in 10 minutes, I’ll be sitting in the media room with the rest of the team, doing what GOD has called us to do.
